Abstract

A press stud (10) comprises a male component (12) which can engage selectively by a snapping action in a female component (14) which comprises a resilient ring (15) which, in a closed condition of the press stud, keeps the male component (12) in connection with the female component (14). The female component (14) comprises a base structure (24) with a housing seat (30) for the resilient ring (15). A cover cap (34) is fixed to the base structure (24) so as to cover it at least partially and close off, at least partially, the housing seat (30) for the resilient ring (15).
