Abstract

The invention relates to a single-use plastic syringe, for injection therapy and for taking samples of organic liquids, the hollow needle of which, attached to the plunger, is contained both before and after use inside the body (barrel), which provides an effective guard and perfect protection thereof. The hollow needle is taken out and, after use, put back into the body of the syringe (barrel), where it is locked by internal locking rings to the body of the syringe itself. The invention has the object of preventing accidental pricking and spreading of organic material which are often the cause of very serious infectious diseases such as, to mention a few, tetanus, AIDS and viral hepatitis. The field of application of the invention is in hospitals, in outpatient clinics, in clinical analysis laboratories and among all those who perform injection therapy or take samples of organic liquids in their own home.
