Abstract

This utility model relates to hand held electric tool with a casing for drilling and screwing. A motor drive is provided therein which is connected to a drive shaft. One end of the drive shaft is a rotary head with at least two electricity-conducting coupling heads. The coupling heads can be shifted to an operating moveable position, and can be shifted to a non-moveable standby position. The drive shaft is connected to the first coupling part through at least one intermediate element. Each coupling head has a respective second coupling part which engages with the first coupling part only when the coupling head is in its operating moveable position. In order to switch between the drilling and screwing functions without disconnecting the power source from the rotary heads, an intermediate drive shaft is installed in the operating zone of the pivot bearing of the rotary head. The end of intermediate drive shaft located in the casing is driven by the said drive shaft; whereas the end of intermediate drive shaft located at the rotary head serves as the first coupling part that is connected to the bevel wheel. The axis of rotation of the intermediate drive shaft does not align with the axis of rotation of the pivot bearing of the rotary head.
