Abstract

ystem of tools for the arthroscopic reconstruction of both segments of the posterior cruciate ligament which system of tools consists of a targeting device (5) with the use of which the femoral canals are formed, two cylindrical bars (25, 26), the surface of which bears scales for measuring the depth to which these (25, 26) penetrate and an osteotome (24), for performing the accurate bone-cutting of the femoral bone (2), so that the height of the bone bridge (32) onto which the two legs (34, 35) of the graft (33) used, seat is as small as possible, so that more anatomical stabilization of it is achieved (33).With the use of the above system of tools, it is possible to fit a semitendinous and cadaverous muscle graft onto a femoral bone part, without the use of stabilization materials, and at the same time the reconstruction of both segments of the posterior cruciate ligament, with the construction of canals of a smaller diameter for fitting the graft, which are opened onto the same points each time on the femoral bone, with a given orientation.
