926,154. Clamps. HELIX (UNIVERSAL) CO. Ltd. Feb. 20, 1961 [March 2, 1960], No. 7330/60. Class 44. A clamp consists of a metal plate 1 having an open slot 2 extending from one edge to form two spaced jaws 6, 6 having turned-up and curled-over outer ends forming curved seatings for engaging one member 4 and being provided at the side opposite the turned-up jaw ends, with an upstanding lug 7 having a tapped hole receiving a clamping screw 8 for engaging another member 5 when in position in the slot 2 behind the first member 4, the axis of the screw lying midway between the spaced jaws.
