Abstract

912,396. Seat suspensions. BRUNS WERKZEUGFABRIK G.m.b.H., CARL. Jan. 23, 1961 [Jan. 23, 1960], No. 2558/61. Classes 52(1) and 52 (2). In a suspension for a vehicle seat 9 comprising lever arms 5, 6 on pivots 3, 4, 7, 8, the swing deflections are controlled by a spring 10 and amplitude of deflection and height of the seat are adjusted by means of an abutment member 12 tiltable about a pin 11 on the pedestal base 2 by means of a screw 15, the lever 6 carrying a rubber buffer 13 which engages member 12. In a modification, Fig. 2, for a tractor seat, the plate 16 is tiltably adjustable about a cylindrical bearing face 17. The damping means consists of a shock absorber 20 and spring 21 and is adjustable by a control 22.
