894,867. Clips. LOOF, N. O. T. April 4, 1960 [April 10, 1959], No. 11845/60. Class 44. [Also in Group XXXVI] A cable clip of plastics or other resilient material comprises two limbs 1 and 2, between which a cable may be engaged, and an interconnecting portion 3 having a centrally disposed hole 4 to receive a nail or screw, the underside of the interconnecting portion being so formed that it engages a supporting surface only at the edges 5, 6, until the nail or screw is driven home, when the said underside will then be brought into contact with the surface and the two limbs will grip the embraced cable. The underside may be concave or undercut to give it the required contour.
