A compartmented packaging device comprises a roll of tubular paper &c. lengths of which are drawn off, opened out and articles placed in each length which is then severed and has one or both ends sealed by any convenient means. The tube comprises several layers 8a, 8b joined longitudinally at spaced intervals so that the layers may be separated in the open tube to give compartments 16.
