Abstract

744,618. Upholstery covers. TOOTHILL, Ltd., R. W., and TOOTHILL, R. W. June 8, 1954 [March 14, 1953], No. 7109/53. Class 52(4). A detachable cover 3 for a padded chair arm has its ends 3b tucked between the pad 2 and the arm 1 while the longitudinal edges 3a are secured together beneath the arm by a sliding clasp fastener 6 or equivalent means, the cover being tensioned by the resilience of the pad which is preferably of sponge rubber.
