[Class 125 (i)] A non-refillable closure for a bottle comprises a hollow tube member 4 closed at the upper end and having a ball valve 6 at the lower end and,apertures 8 in the side walls towards the top, and adapted to move longitudinally relatively to an outer tube member 1 fixed in the neck of the bottle. The tube 1 is fixed in the bottle neck by an inturned flange on the collar 2. The apertures 8 consist of two series of diametrically opposed small holes which allow liquid to be discharged and air to enter when the marble 6 is moved on inclining the bottle. The marble 6 is slidable' along ridges 7 when the bottle is inclined. The tube 1 is formed with two opposed slots'in which projections formed on the side of the tube are adapted to slide, the bottom of the tube being formed with ramps which guide the projections when the tube 4 is rotated in the closed position so as to draw the cap 5 tightly on to the washer 11. In applying the stopper the tube 4 is inserted in the tube 1 and its lower end turned out at 14 to prevent withdrawal, the assembled device then being inserted into the bottle neck and secured by the collar 2. The tube 4 is then pushed inwards and rotated, the projections sliding on the ramps and compressing the washer 11. A cap 13 may be provided. In use the cap 13 is removed, the tube 4 rotated and drawn out to the position shown when the liquid may be poured past the marble 6 and through the apertures 8.
