428,338. Gas-masks. SENFT, A., 2, B÷hmestrasse, Leipsic, Germany. Aug. 16, 1934, No. 23659. Convention date, Jan. 19. [Class 81 (ii)] Gas-masks are provided around their edges, where these contact with the face, with two or more ribs such as a, b having channels such as c between them, the ribs conforming to regular curves on their outer sides and, as shown at d, conforming to the irregularities of the face. The ribs may be separate, or, as shown, may be formed on a single thick rib. The construction provides a gas-tight joint between mask and face.
