Letter Box Flap Alarm System My invention relates to a letter box flap found on a door.
Letter box flaps are well-known but apart from offering an opening for letters and parcels offer no other ft ction, so this invention provides an existing letter box an additional flap with the capability of activating an alann system when the additional flap is pushed open.
An object of this invention is to provide a letter box an additional letter box flap wInch is attached to the inside of the door and is used to covei-and sit against the existing letter box opening and flap, so that when an object is pushed through the letter box the additional flap is pushed open and activates an alarm to notify the occupants.
Accordingly, this invention provides a letter box alarm system a spring hinge with mounted letter flap and built in tilt sensor, side panels to allow the letter box alarm system to be fixed to an existing letter box on the insidc of a door, and an electrically activated box with hunei-which is Fixed to the door for security.
The Letter box flap nutybe made frotn materials such as plastic or metal or a combination of both.

Figure 2 shows the Letter box Rap Alarm System placed on the inside of the door 8. placed just below the doors existing letter box flap 7 providing rooni for the I.etter Box Flap Alarm System flap I with built in tilt sensor to rest against the doors flap 7 at an angel, held in position by spring hinge 2 and secured to the inside of the door S via panels 3 and accompanying electrically activated box with buzzer 4.
As shown in Figure 3 the Letter Box Flap Alarm System will look Ricing on when placed over an existing letter box which has no inside flap. covering the doors letter box space with flap 1 with built in tilt sensor and also secured to the inside of the door via panels 3. also displaying the flaps 1 attached spring hinge 2. also displayed is the electrically activated box with buzzer 4.
Fiure 4 shows how the Letter Box Hap Alarm System will look facing on when placed over an existing letter box with an inside flap 7. placed below the existing letter box flap with the flap 1 with built in tilt sensor set against it and secured to the inside of the door via panels 3. also displaying the flaps I attached spring hinge 2. also displayed is the electrically activated box with buzzer 4.
As shown in figure 5 a side view of the door S with ontside flap 6 and the Letter Box Flap Alarm System attached on the inside, covering the existing letter box entrance space 5 with flap I with built in tilt sensor and spring hinge 2 keeping the flap held against the door, attached to the door via side panels 3.
Figure 6 shows a side view of the door 8 with inside flap 7 and outside flap 6 and the I.etter Box I-lap Alarm System attached on the inside, positioned below the existing letter box flap 7 with flap I with built in lilt sensor and spring hinge 2 keeping the flap held against the door, attached to the door via side panels 3.
As shown in Figure 7 the Letter Box Flap Alarm system will look from the side when placed over an existing letter box with only an outside flap 6; flap 1 with built in tilt sensor fitting flush against the dxr 8 held in position by spring hinge 2 covenng the doors letter box space 5 and secured to the inside of the door S via panel 3.
Figure 8 shows how the Letter Box Flap Alarm system will look from the side when placed over an existing letter box which has an inside flap 7 and outside flap 6, placed below the existing letter box flap 7 with flap I with built in tilt sensor set flush against it and held in position by spring hinge 2, secured to the inside of the door 8 via panel 3.

The letter box alarm systetn will activate whenever the tilt setior within the flap 1 is moved cause to the flap 1 beiug pushed open due to an incoming object. The tilt sensor may without limitation be placed within the flap or spring hinge. 011cc the tilt sensor is activated and the I,etter box flap alarm system's electrically activated box with buzzer 4 will sound.
The portable speakers and light alarm will be synced to the Letter Box Flap Alarm System via electric signal including without limitation to a Cable, Bluetooth, radio wave or electric signal without linutation.
The alarm light may without hmitation automatically reset within one or more seconds or continuously stay lit.
