Abstract

A container or a holder for a mobile phone contains batteries which can be connected to the mobile phone to recharge it when no mains power is available. The container may take the form of a hand bag with an external pocket the phone can be inserted into to recharge. Alternatively the container may be a holder which can be worn on a users belt. The applicant describes this system as a static mobile.

Description

Static Application of Mobiles
DESCRIPTION
Mobile is understood to mean electronic equipment capable of sending by air, words, pictures, drawings or films which are transmitted to the receiver any distance away provided that the repeater poles are placed in the space between, the distance subject to many conditions studied and assessed by Transmission Companies, usually a few hundred yards apart. A receiving Mobile can send back a reply in speech, writing or by drawings. The size and weight are important for Mobiles as they are usually held by one hand and can be put away in any bag or any pocket. The recent trend is towards smaller and lighter Mobiles. Each Mobile has inside a rechargeable battery which, depending on its use, can last from a few hours to a day. Afterwards the battery of a Mobile has to be recharged. At present the recharging takes place by inserting the Mobile in a "recharging socket" which is connected to the mains but the current is limited to low voltage utilised by Mobiles.
Recharging takes place usually at night and in the morning the Mobile is disconnected and used as above.
My invention intends to use a long life Mobile mainly utilising electric battery possibilities. My invention consists of the container made of practically any material, shaped so as to receive a Mobile. The container consists of one or more batteries to recharge the internal battery of the Mobile. The container can be much larger than required by the Mobile e.g. a handbag or clipped on a belt. The batteries can be discarded after use as in hearing aids or the container has a socket which is connected to the charging equipment. The Mobile can be disconnected at any time whatsoever for instant use or can be left in the container for a long time.
Static application of Mobiles means a Mobile which has got the possibility of use for a long time before it needs recharging. "Static Mobiles" means any popular Mobile (on the market in the UK there are around 50 million of them) which have been supplied with additional equipment of a container and batteries. This is the difference between an ordinary Mobile and a Static Mobile.
