Abstract

An adjustable security barrier 10 for mounting on one or more surfaces 42 of a predetermined opening comprises one or more main panels 11 and attachment members 31, the main panels being made of a plurality of fixed bars 12, 13 arranged in a grid-like panel. The attachment members are movable along the bars of the main panel and are provided with securing means for securing each attachment member to the surface. The main panels may be provided with additional extension panels 21 so that the dimensions of the barrier can be modified according to the opening. The barrier may be provided with hinges and a latch mechanism so as to define a gate.
