Lined boxes formed from special blanks.-In corrugated fibre board boxes formed from a single blank, Fig. 3, having transverse scorings A<4> which enable the blank to be folded and longitudinal scorings A<5> and transverse slits A<3> which provide the end closing flaps A', the blank is provided with a permanently affixed resilient layer B which extends along one side of the blank across the scorings A<4> so as to form an inner lining when the blank is folded, Fig. 1. The lining may comprise a layer of corrugated material fixed to the blank with the plain surface facing inwards and end pieces of lining material may be fitted against the edges of the lining B so as to be covered by the flaps A<1>; these end pieces may be separate from or part of the lining B and may be fixed to or separate from the innermost closing flaps A<1>.
