Abstract

A calculator for use when shopping comprises means for entering a pre-set spending limit, means for entering the prices of items purchased and totalling such prices, and means for providing an audible or visual warning when the total approaches or exceeds the preset limit. The calculator may be clipped to a supermarket trolley or attached to a person's body using straps with touch and close fastenings. <IMAGE>

SHOPPERS AIDE (SHOPPING AIDE)A Self Contained Unit Designed to Aid the Shopper to buySelectively by budgeting accuratly to their pocket.
Therefore giving back the Confidence to Shoppers to Buy in large Stores again, of which may have been scaned of by checkout Hooror Bills.
This is A unit Capable of being simply but accuratley used.
Firstly you enter the amount which you wish to spend into thePRESET SPENDING LIMIT PROGRAMME.
You then startentering the items purchase price via the push buttons until at such time you reach your preset spending limit, the unit automatically allerts you that this has been reached, so you can decide whether to carry on.
This unit may be temporarily or permanently attached to a shopping trolley or may be an intergral part.
For mor freedom it may be attached to the customer by velcro.
A small screen is available to deter children (babys) who are acompanying the user from entering figures unecesarily.
SHOPPERS AIDE (SHOPPING AIDE)A present spending limit, which is easily entered into the programme of the unit of which when the amount is ultimately reached. Automatically alerts the user.
The display screen always returns to the totall mode once the last price has been entered.
The ability to use as an alternative to push buttons is a bar code reader attachment.
Completely mobile, self contained power pack or solar cells.
Fixture to either shopping trolley or maybe to the user.
No more checkout horror bills which may course unecessary embarrasment to the customer by perhaps having to return goods.
