Abstract

A controlled cigarette case containing a timing device which limits the number of cigarettes smoked during any given period. It includes a counter and costing device enabling the User to maintain a record of his expenses.

Description

SPECIFICATIONBattery operated, pre-settable cigarette case to hold 20 cigarettes with timing locking device to aid persons to decrease cigarette smoking 1. The case would be made to hold 20 cigarettes.

2. Small, simple lock, computer and battery operated, with clock, alarm if desired (bleep type) which would only open at selected intervals to allow the user to extract cigarettes.

3. The case would be presettable according to the desires of the user whereby the user would only be able to extract cigarettes at the times preset on any particular day.

4. EXAMPLEIf the person decides to smoke one cigarette each hour from 9.a.m. to 11.p.m. he would set the case accordingly he or she would set the case to open at these hourly intervals. The user would then set the case to remain openable either for 5, 10, 15 mins as required after which time the lock would reset and could not then be opened until the next preset opening time. The above mentioned times are only examples and could be varied to the second according to the desires of the user.

5. The timing device would also act as a counter from the date the person started using the case and will be made to allow the user to find out the number of cigarettes he or she smoked in any particular day, week, month or to date.

6. The cost of all cigarettes could also be programmed to enable the user to find out the cost of cigarettes smoked similar to 5 above.

7. Manufactured to suit gents or ladies in any materials shape or form.

2. A controlled cigarette case as claimed inClaim (1) wherein a pre-set locking device limits the number of cigarettes available for smoking.

3. A controlled cigarette case as claimed inClaims (1) and (2) which includes a counter showing the number of cigarettes smoked since filling and pre-setting.

4. A controlled cigarette case as claimed inClaims (2) and (3) which allows for the purchase price of the cigarettes to be programmed into the electronics.
