Abstract

A household kitchen prover is in the shape of a box provided with water and a thermostatic controlled heating element to raise the internal temperature and humidity to a degree that will cause the rapid rising of bread dough. SPECIFICATIONHousehold Kitchen Proving UnitThe unit manufactured from sheet aluminium in the shape of a four sided box with a back and a hinged door fastened by a sneck. The unit is used in the process of baking bread at the time of "proving" the dough, so that the time factor is considerably speeded up. This is achieved by raising the temperature of the interior of the unit by a controlled injection of steam from an outside source. The source being a container holding an amount of water and a thermostatically controlled electrical heating element attached to the rear of the proving unit. The electric power coming from the domestic supply. The sides of the unit will be indented to hold three removable shelves.
