1443. Weise, F. W. Jan. 20. Measured quantities, delivering.-A storing-receptacle for granular material contains a partition a of funnel shape and a lower part b with a drawer c. The funnel opening d is normally closed by the slide f which has an aperture in it, beneath which the measure k is suspended on hinges i. If the handle e be moved, the measure comes beneath the funnel, and is filled. On further movement of the handle e, the funnel is closed again and the "double noses" l attached to the hinges i push against arresting-pins m, whereupon the contents of the measure are emptied into the drawer c. A counting-device n may be connected with the slide or measure. In another form, the slide f may have the shape of a drum, in the surface of which the measure is provided.
