1532677 Rectifying INDESIT INDUSTRIA ELETTRODOMESTICI ITALIANA SpA 7 Oct 1976 [9 Oct 1975] 41648/76 Heading H2F A circuit for obtaining a relatively low D.C. voltage from a relatively high A.C. voltage comprises a first capacitor 2 connected at its one side to an A.C. input terminal 1 and at its other side to the cathode of a first diode 3 and the anode of a second diode 4, the anode of the first diode 3 being connected to the other A.C. input terminal 1<SP>1</SP> and the cathode of the second diode 4 being connected to one side of a second capacitor 5 whose other side is connected to the other A.C. input terminal 1<SP>1</SP>, the D.C. output terminals 8, 8<SP>1</SP>, being connected across the second capacitor 5, the capacitance of the first capacitor 2 being sufficiently lower than the capacitance of the second capacitor 5 so that the output voltage is lower than the input voltage. A resistor 6 and a zener diode 7 may be connected between the second capacitor 5 and the D.C. output terminals 8, 8<SP>1</SP> to provide voltage stabilization.
