Abstract

The fuse base, which is designed from two identical housing halves (1), for a fuse link (8) which is provided with end-contact caps (15, 16) contains a switch (6) by means of which the power supply to the base contact (15) of the fuse link can be interrupted. The mechanism of the switch is provided with a locking device (11) by means of which the switch is blocked in its "off" position when the fuse link is unscrewed or is not completely inserted. <IMAGE>
