1517532 Brackets M GROSSE 28 May 1976 [4 March 1975 16 April 1975] 8991/75 and 15754/75 Heading A4B A support for a shelf or other article of furniture comprises an upright 1 having a longitudinal recess 3 with a front opening 4 flanked by two edges with re-entrant lips 5, and a bracket 19 or 2 having at least one limb which engages in the recess 3 and has an upper rim 22 or 10 which has hooking engagement with a lip or lips 5 and a lower region 23 or 11 which bears on the rear of the recess 4 so that the bracket is frictionally held at adjustable height. Two or more uprights, such as 1, may be inter-connected by.a web(s) as a single, integral unit, Fig. 2 (not shown).
