1423985 Medicines comprising bischromonyloxy compounds FISONS Ltd 2 Feb 1973 [15 Feb 1972] 6911/72 Heading A5B Compositions for the treatment of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract comprise a diluent or carrier and 1, 3-bis [2-carboxychromon-5- yloxy] propan-2-ol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, C 1-10 alkyl ester, amide or mono- or di-C 1-10 alkyl substituted amide thereof, the compositions being in the form of a tablet, dragee, syrup, suppository, sterile solution or suspension. The compositions may be in sustained release or euteric coated form or, in the case of syrup, solution, suspension or powder, contained in a hard or soft capsule. Reference has been directed by the comptroller to Specification 1144905.
