Abstract

1415820 Lubricating conveyer chains MADISON-KIPP CORP 25 June 1974 28193/74 Heading B8A A conveyer chain 10 is lubricated by shots of lubricant pumped by a pump 50 actuated by an arm 28 oscillated by engagement with alternate links of the chain. A follower roller 35 carried by the arm 28, passes freely up into the interior of hollow form links 11 of the chain, and is then deflected by the lower surface of the alternate links 12. When the arm 28 is required to be non-operational, it is secured in a position shown in dot-dash lines by a catch arrangement 71, 72.
