Abstract

1385867 High-frequency transformer MARCONI CO Ltd 19 March 1973 [20 March 1972] 13010/73 Heading HIT A transformer comprises two parallel subassemblies 1<1>, 1<11>, Fig. 1, terminating in interconnecting and mounting means 2, 3, each subassembly comprising a tube 4 on which are ferrite bodies 6 and cooling fins 7 and containing conductors 5, which are straight within the ferrite bodies, some of which are joined by connecting plate 8 at 9, Fig. 5a, and others by plates (8) in Figs. 5b, 5c (not shown). Tube 4 could be one of the conductors. Cooling air or oil may pass between the conductors.
