Abstract

1342078 Valves A E TOPHAM and C H TOPHAM 3 Dec 1971 [7 Dec 1970] 58031/70 Heading F2V A valve of the type described in Specification 1,233,381 is provided with a stop member 20 secured to the valve member 6 so that should fluid pressure acting on the upper surface of the valve member prevent the latter from being lifted by springs 4 on rotation of the cam 2 (as shown in Fig. 2) then a step 2b of the cam or a stud (24) (Figs. 3, 4 and 5, not shown) positively lifts the valve member 6 on engagement with a projection 21 of the stop member 20.
