1325947 Machine-tool carriages COMPAGNIE INDUSTRIELLE DES TELECOMMUNICATIONS CIT-ALCATEL 12 May 1971 [12 May 1970] 14429/71 Heading B3B A machine-tool carriage comprises superposed elements 1, 4 the former of which runs on a fixed base 6 through bearings 2 in a cage 3, and the latter of which runs on the former through similar bearings 5; the position of the element 4 is controlled in dependence upon that of the element 1 such that the centre of gravity of the carriage remains vertically fixed relative to the bearings 2.
