Abstract

1281521 Cabinets; ornamenting furniture W G COX & SON Ltd 29 Aug 1969 [29 Aug 1968] 41301/68 Headings A4B and A4U [Also in Division E1] An H-section member 4 for use as a guide for a sliding door D comprises end flanges 5, 6 extending on each side of an intermediate web 7 to define a pair of oppositely open channels one of which has its facing inner walls underent to define ledges 10 for snap-engagement with hooks 14 at the ends of flexible legs 13 of a capping member 11, the H-section member 4 having an integral barbed rib 2 by which it may be secured to a shelf 1 or other fitting. The member 4 includes an intermediate flange 8 to divide each channel into two grooves which each receive a sliding door D. The front flange 5 may have a decorative corrugation 9. The hooks 14 may be continuous or discontinuous along the length of the capping 11. The channels are of unequal depth.
