Abstract

1,230,856. Wall brackets; garment hangers. AURIOL (GUILDFORD) Ltd. 4 Dec., 1969 [18 Dec., 1968], No. 60070/68. Headings A4B and A4U. A wall mounted bracket and support assembly comprises in combination a wall mounted, rectangular frame A formed by spaced pairs of parallel horizontal rails a interconnected by vertical wires a<1>, and a bracket (B) comprising a horizontal, articlesupporting portion b<1> and a U-shaped fixing portion comprising a pair of hooks b which engage over the upper rail a of a pair and an extension b<2> which engages below the other rail a of the pair. The frame A is carried by wall brackets c. The vertical wires a<1> have hooked lower ends a<2>. In one embodiment (Fig. 5) a plurality of laterally spaced brackets (B) carry wires (d) welded thereto to define a shelf (D). Alternatively (Fig. 6) spaced brackets carry a bottle rack (D<1>). In another embodiment (Fig. 4) the supporting portion b<1> comprises two parallel, horizontally spaced arms. In a further embodiment, Fig. 7, the free end of the supporting portion b<1> is bent arcuately to form a coat hanger D<2>.
