A tube coupling for readily connecting and disconnecting plastics or rubber tubes 10 and 12 of medical appliances comprises a first moulded plastics tubular connector 18, a second moulded plastics tubular connector 20 adapted to be sealingly and telescopically received in the first connector, and axially extending flexible plastics locking levers or arms 32, each radially spaced from connector 20 and connected thereto by two axially spaced fulcrums 40, 44 whereby lever end projections 36 may be snap engaged with a shoulder 30 on the other connector to prevent axially separation of the coupled connectors and whereby said lever ends may be moved radially outwards when radial pressure is applied at A and B to the portions of the flexible arms or levers lying between the two fulcrums to permit disconnection of the coupling. Spaced 0-rings 28 seated in grooves in a spigot portion 26 of connector 20 ensures sealing of the coupling. Chamfered edges at the ends of the levers and arms and the connector 18 permit the levers to be flexed radially outwards over the surface of connector 18 when connectors 20 and 18 are initially pushed together. In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown), the shoulder 30 and the projections 36 are undercut to provide a selflocking action when the coupling is subjected to axial separating forces.
