Abstract

1,139,794. Loose covers for seats. DALE PRODUCTS (PLASTICS) Ltd. 23 May, 1966 [14 July, 1965], No. 29930/65. Heading A4M. A one-piece cover of heat sealable plastics material is formed from a substantially rectangular blank by folding edge portions of the seat top cover part to provide depending front 16 and side 22 cover skirts, these skirts being secured together by heat sealing along lines 20 which are inclined to the meeting edges of the front and side portions of the seat. The inclined lines 20 may be defined either by cutting one or both skirts 16, 22 or by inward folding of a gusset. The lines 20 may extend over either the front or the sides of the seat. A top pocket for the seat back is formed by folding over the top edge of the cover and heat sealing the edges 14.
