[Also in Division B5] A plastics bunghole bush 1, Fig. 3, comprises a ring-shaped body initially closed by a diaphragm 10 surrounded by a line of weakness 11, the diaphragm being pulled out by inserting a finger through a closed loop 13. An integral hinge strap 3 carries a cap 2 snapped-over a peripheral bead 5 around the bush and bending the finger loop 13 inwards. A knob 20 is used to open the cap 2, when the finger loop 13 springs radially outwards. The external surface 6-8 of the ring-shaped body is shaped as shown, for permanent engagement with an inwardly directed flange 22 around a hole in a container wall 1. In a modification, a finger loop 55, Fig. 12, is pulled to remove a diaphragm 57 from a ring- shaped bush body having internal threads 52 into which is screwed an outer stopper 80. Wrench engaging lugs 87 are used to screw home the stopper 80, which has a smalle threaded bore 88 into which is screwed a smaller stopper 90, sealed by a washer 91. The outer stopper 80 is sealed by a washer 85, seated. against the inner wall of a metal clamping ring 72 securing a lip 63 on the bush periphery to a flange 101 around a hole in the wall of a container 100. A metal cap 95 crimped into position across the top of the bush is provided with a finger grip 98, pulled to remove a tearstrip and thus permit opening the container.
