Abstract

A titanium base alloy comprises in addition to titanium:-<TABS:1098217/C6-C7/1> and may also contain:- <TABS:1098217/C6-C7/2> and Ni, Co, Cr and Mn such that there is no more than 7% in total of Hf, Cr, V, Mn, Ni, and Co. The alloy may be cold rolled, solution treated at 1450 DEG F., cooled in air and aged at 900 DEG -1000 DEG F.
