Abstract

1,046,406. Identification devices. AVERY PRODUCTS CORPORATION. Sept. 4, 1963 [Sept. 17, 1962], No. 34930/63. Heading BBF. [Also in Divisions A3 and B5] An identification device comprises a flexible band having a surface area for data covered by a transparent strip coated with a transparent adhesive for attaching to the band at one end and at the other end to the overlapped ends of the band. The band 10 has a surface area 15 for data covered by a transparent strip 17 coated with adhesive for attaching the strip to the band and to the overlapped ends 12, 14. The adhesive surfaces on the band end 12 and strip 17 have removable protective cover strips. The end 23 of the strip may be feathered to preclude removal of the band from a wrist.
