[Also in Division G I ] Two stop arms 13, 14 are formed from metal strips 1, 2, Figs. 1, 2 (not shown) and 3, by bending the ends of a pair of serrated jaws 5, 8 pivoted together by passing the narrower jaw 8 through a hole 7 in a part 6 upstanding from the jaw 5. Movement of a quadrant arm 23 of a Bourdon pressure gauge may be limited by the stop arms 13, 14 by clamping the jaws 5, 8 to a frame part 17 so that the arms embrace the arm 23 or by clamping them to the arm 23 to embrace frame part 17 or 18. Required limits of travel may be adjusted by moving the clamp relative to the pivot of arm 23 or, in the embodiment of Fig. 4 (not shown) by providing a slot in one jaw for the clamping screw 4 or in the embodiment of Fig. 5 (not shown) by providing slots in the arms 13, 14 for attaching adjustable stops, Figs. 6, 7 (not shown).
