Abstract

The present invention relates to a printing and cutting device, for manufacturing wallpaper. It uses an ink-jet printer 2 which receives the paper from the roll 1. This paper, guided by rollers 4, is printed by the printing head 3, then passes in front of optical sensors 5, some of which are used to control a two-dimensional automatic control via the electronic circuit 6, where as other optical sensors 5 are used, via an analogue-to-digital converter 7, to control the shade of the wallpaper, by acting on the computer 8 which sends its data on to the circuit 6, in order to obtain the desired decorative patterns. Furthermore, the computer 8 controls, via an interface 9, the guillotine for cutting the length of the widths 10, the data being validated by an end sensor 11. The widths are cut to length by circular shears 12. The assembly is mechanically coupled by the framework of the machine 13 which also supports an automatic translation table 14.
