Abstract

The plastic cap has a hole through it and contains an electromechanical system which acts on the valve in an aerosol cannister. This allows the contents to be released for predetermined periods at partic. intervals. A plastic cap (12) contains a baseplate (11) and has a hole which allows a tube (13) to pass gas into the air. On its centre is a motor(1) support (2) which contains a reduction gear assembly (3). This motor is driven by an electronic timing circuit to drive an eccentric cam (9) at intervals to push the aerosol valve (16) to release the contents. A pin (10) is released when the valve is operated to release relay contacts (6) in the top of the cap. This cuts the battery supply to the motor.
