Abstract

The heat absorber consists of a casing with a heat transfer surface (2). The surface rests on the insulated sides and base of the casing. The casing has a water pipe (6) passing through it, the inside of the casing being fitted with baffle plates (10) to guide the liquid flow in a pattern around the casing. The fluid moves inside the casing by convection.
