Abstract

The hose reel has a support with bearings a hollow shaft (13). A drum (15) is fixed to the shaft, a handle (14) being connected to one end of the shaft. A pipe (19) is connected to a rotary joint (18) at the other end of the shaft. The rotary joint includes a sleeve co-axial with the shaft and a sealing ring, these being separate from the bearing so the weight of the drum is not applied to the rotary joint.
