Abstract

The metering syringe has a revolver-type butt with fixed and movable grips, the latter with a feed block on the syringe plunger rod. The block is a plate fitting by means of a first oval hole on the plunger rod. adn can be inclined on the latter so as to exert an axial thrust on it. This plate works in conjunction with alocking plate, also fitting over the rod by means of an oval hole, and which can likewise be canted on the rod to prevent movement in the reverse direction. Both plates can be arranged to rock on the rod between canted positions preventing movement of the rod in relation to them and others at right angles to it to allow it to slide through.
