Abstract

A two-chamber container for the separate storage of solid and liquid materials is subdivided by a flexible partition. The selvage of the partition is folded around a sealing strip and the bulbous edge formed thereby is clamped tight between the container wall and clamping strips. This eliminates the weakening of the partition selvage by rows of holes, along which the partition tends to tear. A uniform stress along the edge is ensured and results in a long service life of the partition, combined with an efficient seal of the two chambers.
