Abstract

The high frequency blood coagulating dissecting forceps has two arms whose circuit for the high frequency generator is completed by a contact plate on one arm and a contact plate set on an auxiliary platelet whereby adjustable stops are provided for selected variation of the clamping space between the two arms. Pref. the auxiliary platelet (4) is arranged between the two arms (1, 2) with the stop device on the auxiliary platelet itself so that the contact plate (5) carried by it serves simultaneously as the adjustable stop. A fixed thread bolt (8) penetrates the platelet and a setting disc (9) which can be turned to move the platelet along it. The disc (9) is enclosed in a cap (4a) formed by the platelet.
