Abstract

Keys and pushbuttons for calculatos etc., have markings which can readily wear off. This button has the character placed on the inside of a thin transparent film, which may be coloured, the film being deformed so that it fits into an injection mould. Suitable adhesive is placed on the film, but only if required, and the button shape moulded conventionally behind the film. The result is a button with a character on the inside of a tough film. It is pointed out that a large variety of colour combinatios can be achieved with the character, film and button material being variables.
