Abstract

Cable trough especially for electrical cables. According to the invention, the trough with a generally U-shaped section has, at given longitudinally spaced locations, pairs of holes (24a, 24b) oppositely located in the parallel walls of the block for the temporary insertion of advantageously non-specific retaining elements that facilitate cable laying. The retaining elements are used until the trough is definitively closed using a suitably shaped lid, but can also be left in place.
