Abstract

Device for adjusting the height of armrestsThis device comprises two parts that fit together (one inside the other) and are adjustable in relation to each other. One of them controls the armrest itself and the other is linked to the fixture on the seat. The latter allows for upward movement of the former while a locking device that can be operated manually controls the lower movement. The two parts are connected by means of their own pinion wheels. The traction makes it possible to move the armrest control. The downward motion requires a transversal shift of these pinion wheels.
