Abstract

Process for measuring the concentration of micro- organisms in water. A process for determining the concentration of micro- organisms in water and the fundamental technical requirements which must be met by equipment for performing such measurement is described. The basis of the invention is measurement of the rate of consumption of oxygen by the micro-organisms present in a sample of water to which a specific quantity of nutrients is added.
