Abstract

Water-soluble unit dose article comprising a liquid detergent composition.

Description

Claims (15)

  1. A water-soluble unit dose article comprising a water-soluble film defining at least one internal compartment and a liquid detergent composition comprised within said compartment, wherein when the unit dose article is compressed between two plates at a pressure of 100N for 3 seconds using an Instron Universal Materials Testing instrument with a load cell of maximum 100 kN, 0% of the liquid detergent composition escapes from the unit dose article;
    wherein when a hole is introduced into the water-soluble film in contact with the at least one compartment on the side of the water-soluble unit dose article not in contact with the plates using a needle having a 1mm diameter and said unit dose article is compressed between the two plates at a pressure of 100N for 3 seconds using an Instron Universal Materials Testing instrument with a load cell of maximum 100 kN, greater than 0% but less than 50% preferably less than 40% more preferably less than 30%, most preferably less than 20% by weight of the liquid detergent composition escapes from the unit dose article.
