Abstract

The covering device for open wounds permits easy treatment, without dressing, of, for example, abrasions as occur frequently in sports and in motorbike accidents. The device comprises a lid having an outer edge whose surface is provided with small holes for provision of the wound with, for example, powder or lotion. The device is made of a transparent material for observation of the wound. Flaps provided on the outer edge serve to fasten the device on the body with a plaster. A support of soft material on the outer edge serves as an elastic end of the device on the body.
