In order to solve the problem of paging conflict of multi-card wireless communication terminals, the method and the device can determine the terminal behavior when the paging conflict occurs, and report the related information of the paging occasion when the terminal determines not to monitor the paging channel to the corresponding communication network. According to the reported information of the terminal, the communication network does not send the paging information aiming at the SIM card of the terminal on the paging occasion which is decided by the terminal and does not monitor the paging channel, thereby avoiding paging conflict of different SIM cards. For example, the present invention can be implemented by the following examples.
Fig. 1 illustrates a flow chart of some embodiments of a control method of paging of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 1, the method includes:step 110, determining paging occasion;step 120, determining a paging collision;step 130, determining paging indication information; andstep 140, sending paging indication information.
Instep 110, each paging occasion of each SIM card is determined according to the network parameters received from the communication network corresponding to each SIM card on the terminal.
In some embodiments, where the communication network is a 5G network, the network parameters may include one or more of 5G-S-TMSI (5G Short Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity), DRX cycle (Discontinuous Reception cycle, discontinuous reception paging cycle), PF offset (paging frame offset), total paging frame number within one DRX cycle, total paging occasion number within one paging frame.
In some embodiments, where the communication network is a 4G network, the network parameters may include at least one of DRX Cycle, nB (paging capacity).
Instep 120, according to each paging occasion, the relevant information that the SIM card on the terminal collides with other SIM cards on the terminal is determined.
In some embodiments, in the case that there is a time overlapping portion between the paging occasion of the SIM card on the terminal and the paging occasions of other SIM cards on the terminal, it is determined that the SIM card has a paging collision at the paging occasion.
In some embodiments, in the case that the time interval between the paging occasion of the SIM card on the terminal and the paging occasions of other SIM cards on the terminal is smaller than the duration required for the terminal to switch networks, it is determined that the SIM card has paging collision at the paging occasion.
Instep 130, according to the related information of each paging conflict, paging indication information of the corresponding SIM card is determined, for indicating whether each communication network sends a paging message to the SIM card on the related time resource of each paging occasion. For example, the paging collision related information includes paging collision time information and collision period information.
In some embodiments, according to the related information of each paging conflict, the related time resource information of the paging occasion when the SIM card does not monitor is determined as paging indication information, and the paging indication information is used for indicating that the corresponding communication network does not send a paging message to the SIM card in the related time resource information. For example, the relevant time resource information includes at least one of a system frame number, a subframe number, a sequence number of a symbol, or a sequence number of a paging occasion where the terminal does not monitor.
In some embodiments, the periodicity of the occurrence of the collision may be determined according to the collision period information, so that the paging indication information in all collision periods may be determined by calculating the paging indication information in only one collision period. In this way, the processing efficiency can be improved.
Instep 140, corresponding paging indication information is sent to each communication network. For example, the communication network does not send paging messages on the relevant time resource information of paging occasions where the terminal does not monitor according to the paging indication information.
Fig. 2 shows a flow chart of other embodiments of a control method of paging of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 2, the method may further include:step 210, determining a paging indication period; and step 220, transmitting a paging indication period.
Instep 210, a paging indication period for each paging occasion of the SIM card is determined, and paging indication information about each corresponding paging occasion is the same in different paging indication periods.
Instep 220, a corresponding paging indication period is sent to each communication network. Therefore, only the paging indication information in one paging indication period is needed to be determined, so that the communication network can be indicated when to send the paging information in the whole time period, and the processing efficiency is improved.
In some embodiments, in response to a change in paging indication information of a SIM card, the changed paging indication information is sent to a corresponding communication network of the SIM card.
In some embodiments, in response to receiving a new network parameter from the communication network, the paging indication information for the SIM card is re-determined in accordance with the new network parameter.
In some embodiments, a multi-card wireless communication terminal receives one or more network parameters associated with a communication network sent to different SIM cards for use in calculating paging occasions. The multi-card wireless communication terminal calculates paging occasions for each SIM card according to network parameters. And determining paging occasions related when the other SIM cards and the SIM card generate paging conflict and the period of the paging conflict according to the paging occasion of each SIM card.
For example, for each SIM card, when the paging occasions of the remaining SIM cards overlap with the paging occasions of the SIM card in time, or the paging time interval is smaller than the time required for switching the radio frequency unit of the terminal, the multi-card wireless communication terminal considers that the paging occasions of the SIM card collide with the paging occasions of the remaining SIM cards.
For example, one or more paging collisions may exist within a collision period. The time difference between the starting time of the paging collision in the collision period and the starting time of the paging projection at the corresponding position in the next collision period is always the collision period.
For example, the time corresponding to the collision period may be an integer multiple of the duration of the discontinuous reception period for the SIM card and the SIM card with which the page has a collision.
In some embodiments, the multi-card wireless communication terminal determines, for each SIM card, a decision period (paging indication period) and a decision (paging indication information) in the decision period, for indicating whether the terminal listens to a paging channel corresponding to the SIM card at a paging occasion related to a paging collision. For example, for each SIM card, the multi-card wireless communication terminal has the same corresponding decisions for paging occasions affected by paging collisions at the same location within each decision period. I.e. the corresponding decision is either listening or not listening to the paging channel of the SIM card on the paging occasion of the same location.
For example, one or more paging collisions may exist within a decision period of a multi-card wireless communication terminal. The time difference between the paging conflict starting time in the decision period and the paging conflict starting time of the corresponding position in the next adjacent decision period is always the decision period.
For example, the duration of the decision period for each SIM card may be an integer multiple of the duration of the conflict period for that SIM card.
In some embodiments, the multi-card wireless communication terminal reports, to each SIM card, information about paging occasions when the terminal decides not to monitor the paging channel, to the corresponding communication network. On a paging occasion when the multi-card wireless communication terminal decides not to monitor the paging channel, the communication network does not send a paging message for the terminal's SIM card.
In some embodiments, if the decision of the multi-card wireless communication terminal changes, the terminal re-reports the relevant information of the paging occasion that does not monitor the paging channel to the corresponding network.
In some embodiments, if the paging occasion for any SIM card obtained by the multi-card wireless communication terminal from the communication network changes, the terminal re-determines the paging occasion, paging collision period, decision related to the paging collision, and reports the relevant information of the paging occasion that does not monitor the paging channel to the corresponding communication network.
For example, when the decision of the multi-card wireless communication terminal changes, or the paging occasion for any SIM card obtained from the communication network changes, the terminal may report only paging occasion information to the communication network that the paging occasion of not listening to the paging channel changes.
In some embodiments, the multi-card wireless communication terminal is a dual-card dual-standby handset. The mobile phone has two SIM cards: theSIM card 1 and theSIM card 2 belong to acommunication network 1 and acommunication network 2 respectively. Thecommunication network 1 and thecommunication network 2 may be a fourth generation mobile communication system (4G) network and a fifth generation mobile communication system (5G) network, respectively, belonging to different operators.
In some embodiments, after the dual-card dual-standby mobile phone is powered on, the mobile phone establishes signaling connection with thecommunication network 1 and thecommunication network 2 through theSIM card 1 and theSIM card 2, respectively.
Thecommunication network 1 issues network parameters related to calculating paging occasions to the handsets. The mobile phone calculates the paging occasion through the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identification Number, international Mobile subscriber identity) corresponding to theSIM card 1 and the received network parameter. Thecommunication network 2 issues network parameters related to calculating paging occasions to the handsets. The mobile phone calculates the paging occasion through the 5G-S-TMSI corresponding to theSIM card 2 and the received network parameters. For example, the calculation results in the embodiment of fig. 3 may be obtained.
Fig. 3 illustrates a schematic diagram of some embodiments of a control method of paging of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 3, each system frame of thecommunication network 1 is 10ms long, and the sub-frame is 1ms long. The discontinuous reception period of theSIM card 1 is 64 system frames, i.e. 640ms. The system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion of theSIM card 1 is modulo 64surplus 3, and the subframe number corresponding to the paging occasion of theSIM card 1 is modulo 10surplus 1.
In the communication system corresponding to thecommunication network 1, the dual-card dual-standby mobile phone is awakened once every 640ms, and monitors the paging channel on the subframe time resource corresponding to the system frame number of more than 3 in the mode of more than 1 in the mode of more than 10 in the subframe number so as to acquire the paging message.
Each system frame of thecommunication network 2 is 10ms long and the sub-frame is 1ms long. The discontinuous reception period of theSIM card 2 is 32 system frames, i.e. 320ms. The system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion of theSIM card 2 is modulo 32 more than 2, and the subframe number corresponding to the paging occasion of theSIM card 2 is modulo 10 more than 5.
In the communication system corresponding to thecommunication network 2, the dual-card dual-standby mobile phone is awakened once every 320ms, and monitors the paging channel on the sub-frame time resource corresponding to the system frame number of more than 2 and the sub-frame number of more than 5 in the mode of 10 so as to acquire the paging message.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic diagram of further embodiments of the paging control method of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 4, the mobile phone determines paging occasions related to paging collisions and periods of occurrence of the paging collisions for theSIM cards 1 and 2, respectively. The time of thecommunication network 1 and thecommunication network 2 are not synchronous, and the mobile phone can obtain the time information of the two networks. For example, system frame 0 ofcommunication network 1 may be 5.5ms earlier thansystem frame 0 ofcommunication network 2.
The period of the paging conflict of theSIM card 1 can be 640ms, the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion related to the conflict is more than 3 in a mode of 64, and the subframe number is more than 1 in a mode of 10. That is, onsubframe 1 ofsystem frame 3 andsubframe 1 of system frame 67 (and so on) ofcommunication network 1, the paging occasions corresponding toSIM card 1 and the paging occasions corresponding toSIM card 2 overlap in time.
The period of the paging conflict of theSIM card 2 can be 640ms, the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion related to the conflict is modulo 64 more than 2, and the subframe number is modulo 10 more than 5. That is, onsubframe 5 ofsystem frame 2 andsubframe 5 ofsystem frame 66 of communication network 2 (and so on), the paging occasions corresponding toSIM card 2 and the paging occasions corresponding toSIM card 1 overlap in time.
The time corresponding to the paging collision period of each SIM card may be an integer multiple of the time corresponding to the discontinuous reception periods ofSIM card 1 andSIM card 2.
The mobile phone determines decision periods for theSIM card 1 and theSIM card 2 respectively, and whether the terminal monitors the paging channel of the SIM card at the corresponding paging occasion when the paging conflict occurs in the decision periods. For example, the decision may be as in the embodiment shown in FIG. 5.
Fig. 5 shows a schematic diagram of further embodiments of a control method of paging of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 5, the decision period of theSIM card 1 may be selected to be an integer multiple of the paging collision period, e.g. 1280ms, i.e. 128 system frames of thecommunication network 1. Furthermore, the mobile phone can determine to monitor the paging channel of theSIM card 1 at the paging occasion when the system frame number is more than 128 and more than 3 and the subframe number is more than 10 and more than 1; and not monitoring the paging channel of theSIM card 1 at the paging occasion of which the system frame number is modulo 128 andresidue 67 and the subframe number is modulo 10 andresidue 1.
The decision period of theSIM card 2 may be chosen to be an integer multiple of the paging collision period, e.g. 1280ms, i.e. 128 system frames of thecommunication network 2. Furthermore, the mobile phone can determine to monitor the paging channel of theSIM card 2 at the paging occasion when the system frame number is more than 128 and more than 66 and the subframe number is more than 5; and not monitoring the paging channel of theSIM card 2 at the paging occasion of which the system frame number is modulo 128 and more than 2 and the subframe number is modulo 10 and more than 5.
The mobile phone still monitors the paging channel of the corresponding SIM card at other paging occasions of each SIM card, which are not affected by paging collision.
In some embodiments, the mobile phone reports the determined paging occasion related information of not monitoring the paging channel to the corresponding communication network for theSIM card 1 and theSIM card 2 respectively.
For example, for thecommunication network 1, the information reported by the mobile phone may include: the decision period is 1280ms (or 128 corresponding system frames); the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion which is not monitored is modulo 128surplus 67, and the subframe number is modulo 10surplus 1.
For example, for thecommunication network 2, the information reported by the mobile phone may include: the decision period is 1280ms (or 128 corresponding system frames); the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion which is not monitored is modulo 128surplus 2, and the subframe number is modulo 10surplus 5.
In some embodiments, the mobile may also report the sequence number of the paging occasion that is not listening within the decision period. For example, forSIM card 1, the paging occasion number that is not monitored in one decision period is 2; forSIM card 2, the paging occasion number that is not listening for one decision period is 1.
In some embodiments, after receiving the information reported by the mobile phone, thecommunication network 1 does not send the paging signal of theSIM card 1 at the paging occasion when the system frame number is modulo 128 to 67 and the subframe number is modulo 10 to 1.
In some embodiments, after receiving the information reported by the mobile phone, thecommunication network 2 does not send the paging signal of theSIM card 2 at the paging occasion when the system frame number is modulo 128 more than 2 and the subframe number is modulo 10 more than 5.
In some embodiments, the handset changes the decision to: for thecommunication network 1, the decision period is 1280ms, the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion which is not monitored is modulo 128 more than 3, and the subframe number is modulo 10 more than 1; forcommunication network 2, the decision period is 1280ms, the system frame number corresponding to the paging occasion that is not monitored is modulo 128residue 66, and the subframe number is modulo 10residue 5. In this case, the mobile phone should report the paging occasion information of the changed non-listening paging channel to the corresponding communication network.
In some embodiments, if the handset receives a new calculated paging occasion related parameter from any of the communication networks, the handset should recalculate the paging occasion. Furthermore, the mobile phone re-judges the paging occasion and the paging conflict period related to the paging conflict, re-decides the decision period and the related decision, and re-reports the paging occasion information of the non-monitoring paging channel to the corresponding network.
Therefore, when the mobile phone monitors the paging channel of one communication network, other communication networks can not send paging information to the mobile phone, and further paging conflict of different SIM cards of the mobile phone is avoided.
In the above embodiment, the paging occasion of sending the paging message is indicated for each communication network according to the paging conflict of each SIM card. Thus, the problem that paging messages cannot be received due to paging collision can be avoided, and the communication performance is improved.
Fig. 6 illustrates a block diagram of some embodiments of a paging control apparatus of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 6, thepaging control apparatus 6 includes a timing determination unit 61, acollision determination unit 62, aninstruction determination unit 63, and atransmission unit 64.
The timing determining unit 61 determines each paging timing of each SIM card based on network parameters received from the communication network corresponding to each SIM card on the terminal.
Theconflict determination unit 62 determines, according to each paging occasion, information about paging conflicts between the SIM card on the terminal and other SIM cards on the terminal. For example, the paging collision related information includes paging collision time information and collision period information.
In some embodiments, thecollision determination unit 62 determines that the SIM card has a paging collision at the paging occasion when there is a time overlap between the paging occasion of the SIM card on the terminal and the paging occasions of other SIM cards on the terminal.
In some embodiments, theconflict determination unit 62 determines that the SIM card has a paging conflict at a paging occasion of the SIM card on the terminal if the paging occasion of the SIM card on the terminal is less than the time period required for the terminal to switch networks.
Theindication determining unit 63 determines paging indication information of the corresponding SIM card according to the related information of each paging collision, for indicating whether each communication network sends a paging message to the SIM card on the related time resource of each paging occasion.
In some embodiments, theindication determining unit 63 determines, as the paging indication information, relevant time resource information of a paging occasion when the SIM card does not listen, for indicating that the corresponding communication network does not send a paging message to the SIM card at the relevant time resource information. For example, the relevant time resource information includes at least one of a system frame number, a subframe number, a sequence number of a symbol, or a sequence number of a paging occasion where the terminal does not monitor.
In some embodiments, theindication determining unit 63, in response to receiving a new network parameter from the communication network, re-determines the paging indication information of the SIM card based on the new network parameter.
The transmittingunit 64 transmits corresponding paging indication information to each communication network. In some embodiments, the sendingunit 64 responds to the change in the paging indication information of the SIM card, and sends the changed paging indication information to the corresponding communication network of the SIM card.
In some embodiments, theindication determining unit 63 determines the paging indication period of the paging occasion of each SIM card, and in different paging indication periods, the paging indication information about each respective paging occasion is the same; the transmittingunit 64 transmits a corresponding paging indication period to each communication network.
In the above embodiment, the paging occasion of sending the paging message is indicated for each communication network according to the paging conflict of each SIM card. Thus, the problem that paging messages cannot be received due to paging collision can be avoided, and the communication performance is improved.
