Abstract

A method, apparatus and computer system for motion compensation are disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a prediction block of a current image block, wherein the prediction block is a prediction block pointed by a motion vector of the current image block; performing image segmentation on the prediction block to obtain at least two regions; and determining a predicted value of the pixel to be processed according to the corresponding area of the pixel to be processed in the current image block in the at least two areas. The technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention can improve the performance of motion compensation.
